01 Reading and permitted use
These conditions govern the reading of the pages published at orderflow-metrics.org. By opening a page the reader accepts them. The material is technical reference prose about configuring the ATAS (Advanced Time And Sales) platform, written for analysts who already work with volume and time-and-sales charts.
Readers may view, print and store a single copy of any page for personal study or for internal desk training. This permission is personal, non-transferable, and does not extend to republishing a page as part of another product or service.
02 Quoting and attribution
Short quotations are welcome. A quotation is considered short when it stays under roughly two hundred words, forms a minor part of the citing work, and does not reproduce a whole section or an entire table. Every quotation must carry an attribution that names the desk and the page.
- Name the source as OrderFlow Metrics Editorial Desk.
- Give the page title and the uniform resource locator orderflow-metrics.org.
- State the revision or review date shown on that page.
- Keep the quoted wording unaltered apart from bracketed clarifications.
Attribution A citation that omits the desk name, or that presents the text as original work, falls outside this permission.
03 Limits of reproduction
Certain uses are not covered. The following are refused in advance, and no separate consent is granted for them.
- Reposting a page in full on another site, forum or documentation portal.
- Selling, bundling or wrapping the text inside a paid product or course.
- Feeding the pages into a training corpus that is then offered commercially.
- Removing, hiding or altering the desk name and review dates.
- Presenting the material as official guidance from any platform vendor.
04 Accuracy caveats
The pages describe configuration choices and the reasoning behind them. They are written from the perspective of a documentation desk, not a software vendor, and they are not a substitute for the vendor's own manual or for the reader's judgement.
No warranty of fitness
The text is supplied as it stands, with no promise that it suits a particular desk, platform build, data feed or workflow. Menu names and option labels in charting tools change between releases, so a setting described here may be labelled differently in the reader's build.
Reader responsibility
Applying a configuration is the reader's own decision. Charts are analytical instruments; the way they are set up does not determine any outcome in a market, and nothing here should be read as a claim about results.
05 Governing law
These conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, United States, without regard to rules that would point to the law of another place. Should a dispute arise that cannot be settled by correspondence, the courts sitting in Multnomah County, Oregon, are the intended forum. This clause does not remove any protection that a consumer holds under mandatory local law.
06 Changes and version dates
The conditions may be revised when the site's structure changes. Each revision is stamped with a version date, and the version that applied when a reader last visited remains accessible in the summary below. Continuing to read a page after a new date is posted means the newer version applies.
| Version | Date | What changed |
|---|---|---|
| 1.0 | 14 January 2026 | First published set of conditions. |
| 1.1 | 02 June 2026 | Added limits on machine training use. |
| 1.2 | 12 October 2026 | Clarified attribution for tables. |
