01 What was recorded
The message submitted through the request form has been recorded locally on the machine that sent it. Nothing left that machine: the confirmation you are reading is generated by the same static page set, and it does not depend on a network round trip to display.
When the form was completed, the entered fields — name, email address, subject line and message body — were held in the local page state long enough to be shown back as a summary. That summary existed only inside the browser session on your device. As soon as the tab was left or the page was reloaded, the summary was released, because this documentation site keeps no persistent record of submitted content.
02 What was not stored
No message content was transmitted to any remote destination, and no copy was retained on any host operated by this desk. The site is served as a set of static files; there is no application process behind the form that could accept, queue or archive a submission. The dashed path in the diagram above marks a route that this site consciously does not use.
- No message body was written to a remote database.
- No sender address was added to any mailing list.
- No identifier was assigned to the submission for later lookup.
- No analytics tag recorded the visit as a conversion event.
Because nothing was stored remotely, there is nothing on the desk side to delete on request — the record never existed anywhere except on your own device.
03 What happens next
Since the submission stayed local, the next step depends on you. If the message contained a correction, a source suggestion or an editorial question that you want the desk to see, send the same text by email to the address below; that channel reaches a person, whereas the local form does not. If the message was a test of the form behaviour, no further action is required.
| Situation | Recommended route |
|---|---|
| Correction to a page | email with the page file name |
| Source suggestion | email with a short citation |
| Accessibility feedback | email with the assistive setup used |
| Test of the form | no action needed |
04 How to follow up
To reach the desk, restate the message in an email and include the file name of the page the message refers to, for example comparison-atas-sierra-bookmap.html or faq.html. Including the file name lets the editor locate the exact paragraph rather than search the whole reference. If the message concerns a numerical example, quote the parameter value and the section number as they appear on the page.
- Copy the message text from wherever you saved it, if you saved it at all.
- Add the page file name and the section number the message targets.
- Send it to the editorial address shown in the next section.
- Expect a reply within five working days; corrections that can be verified are logged in the editorial policy page.
A message that names a verifiable source is easier to act upon than one that describes a problem in general terms. Where a definition or a numeric default is questioned, the desk re-checks the current interface wording before changing the text.
05 Where to reach the desk
Correspondence about this reference should be sent to the editorial desk by post or by email. The postal address is below, and the email address is the fastest route for corrections and source suggestions.
- Postal address
- OrderFlow Metrics Editorial Desk, 1840 Wexford Avenue, Suite 12, Portland, OR 97205, United States.
- [email protected]
- Scope of the desk
- Independent technical documentation and configuration guidance only.

06 What the desk can and cannot do
The desk can clarify the wording of this reference, correct a documented parameter default, add a cited source and record a verified change. The desk cannot retrieve a message that was submitted through the local form, because that content was never transmitted. It also does not provide any trading, order-handling or advisory service, and does not distribute software of any kind.
Within scope
- Text corrections and clarifications.
- Parameter and section references.
- Sourcing and verification notes.
Outside scope
- Recovering a locally held form message.
- Account, order or trading questions.
- Requests to obtain or transfer software.
Keep this page for reference: it states, in one place, exactly what happened to the submission and how to reach a person if a reply is required.
